Rudy J. Triana, Jr. MD, FACS is a triple-board-certified physician who graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Wake Forest University. He completed his medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During medical school, he was awarded several research fellowships including: the Holderness Research Fellowship, Fellowship from the North Carolina Academy of Science, and a fellowship from the Southern Medical Association.

After completing medical school, he completed an internship in general surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then entered the U.S. Navy, completed the flight surgery training program, and worked as a flight surgeon in Pensacola, Florida where he was awarded the Naval Flight Surgeon of the Year.

He returned to the University of North Carolina to complete his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle. Following his plastic surgery fellowship, he was an assistant professor of surgery at the University of North Carolina. In 2008 Dr. Triana decided he would like to get certified in Hormone Replacement Therapy followed by his Board Certification in Functional & Integrative Medicine in the year 2015.

Dr. Triana has always had an interest in health and nutrition since an early age. He has competed as an amateur bodybuilder, power lifter, and biathlete. He has also developed several of his own products in the health and beauty industry and his most recent is Hookani Frequency Activated Water.

In addition to a busy surgical practice, Dr. Triana has been practicing integrative medicine, hormone balancing and age management for over 15 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Academy of Head & Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Triana is also published as one of the top experts in the country for BHRT in Susanne Sommers' book Breakthrough.

Dr. Triana continues to maintain a workout schedule and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. He currently resides in Mayfield, Kentucky with his wife Victoria and two sons.
